Keeping the "world" in "WorldWired," Metallica have announced the latest leg of their international touring. The band will be hitting South America for six dates next spring and they'll be bringing along red hot upstarts Greta Van Fleet. America and Europe for six headlining shows including two Brazilian cities we have never played in — Belo Horizonte and Curitiba," state Metallica. The nod from the veteran metalliers comes while they continue to promote their Anthem of the Peaceful Army album.

The WorldWired Tour is a concert tour by American heavy metal band Metallica in support of their tenth studio album Hardwired It is also their first worldwide tour after the World Magnetic Tour six years earlier. The tour started on October 26, in Puerto Rico, followed by four more dates on the Latin American tour. A performance at the 59th annual Grammy Awards on February 12, , was also a part of the tour.
